I will write about some of the things roofing businesses can do to attract more customers online. Most of the content will talk about building an online presence but I will also throw in stuff about paid advertising.

I’d like to show roofing businesses how to get leads online

My message is that an online presence is all it takes to start getting leads online.

  • Identify your target audience
  • Set up your socials
  • Find the right websites
  • Make a list of the keywords
  • Optimize your site

10 Steps to Attracting more Roofing Customers by Leveraging the Internet

The internet is simply a tool. It can be used to accomplish anything, and one of the best ways to use it is by leveraging its resources to attract more roofing customers.

So, if your company has been struggling with attracting new leads, this article will outline 10 steps that you can take to start generating more revenue via the internet.

Step 1: Identify Your Audience

The first thing you need to do is identify your audience. Who are they? What kind of questions might they have about roofs and what solutions will work for them? Once you know who these people are, it’s easier to identify where they might hang out on the internet.

Step 2: Set Up Your Socials

Setting up your social profiles is another way to attract more roofing customers. This will help create a robust online presence where potential clients can engage with you and ask questions about their home or business needs.

Social media is also a great way to share photos of past projects and you can get them even further by using hashtags related to roofing. You can also include captions that offer customers advice on what they should do if their roof needs repair or a replacement.

Step 3: Find the Right Websites

Once you know your target audience, it’s time to find the right websites that cater specifically to them. You may want to start with general search engines like Google or Bing and then narrow things down from there.

Step 4: Make a List of the Keywords

Next, you need to make a list of the keywords that will point people to your company on search engines. And, you should know there are three main types of keywords – long-tail, broad, and negative keywords.

Long-tail keywords include phrases like “best roofing companies in Dallas.” And they can be used to advertise specific areas of your business. Broad keywords include phrases like “roof repair,” while negative keywords are words that don’t belong on your website, such as ‘free’.

Step 5: Optimize Your Website

Once you have a list of the keywords, it’s time to optimize your website. And this can be done in two steps – creating an attractive landing page and adding content that talks about various aspects of roofing, including repairs, replacement materials, tile roofs, and more.

Step 6: Generate Traffic

Now that your website is optimized, it’s time to generate traffic. This is done by building links back and forth with other websites that have similar content. It also helps if you stay active on social media so people can learn more about what you offer.

Step 7: Create a Blog

If you want to attract more roofing customers, it’s important that you create a blog. This way, you can establish authority in your industry, which will drive traffic back to your company website. That’s because most people are more willing to listen and buy from a company that has posted a lot of insightful content about their topic of interest.

Step 8: Reach Out to Customers

You should always reach out to your customers regularly through email, phone, or in person. This way you can find out how they like the job you did at their home or business, as well as what issues you might need to fix next time around.

Step 9: Expand Your Reach

If you want to attract more roofing customers, it’s important that you expand your reach. This can be done by reaching out to local media outlets and bloggers who share content related to the home or business needs of people in your area. It also helps if you create a YouTube channel where potential customers can see videos about what you do.

Step 10: Leverage Paid Advertising

One of the best ways to attract more roofing customers is through paid advertising. This can be done on Google, Bing, and Facebook, which will help you drive traffic back to your company website. And, this traffic is more likely to buy or contact your company.

Google ads are particularly effective. Businesses can target specific keywords and find out what people are searching for on Google. This helps you know what a customer wants, and that can increase conversions dramatically.

But you can also use Facebook ads which also have a high conversion rate. That’s because the social media giant lets advertisers target potential customers based on their interests, which can be cost-effective and profitable.
