1. For Removing Stains and Spills

Red wine stains on white cloth are some of the hard to remove stains. If you spill some red wine on anything, then you can use this hack.

After your spill, it is must that you act fast and dilute the stain with some white wine. Then, use some paper towels and soak the stained area.

After you remove the excess spill from the area, cover it with salt. Finally, wash the cloth using vinegar, or dish soap with water. You can also use wet vacuum cleaners for this job. Your stained wine cloth or fabric will look as new after this hack.

In the case of oil spills on your cloth or fabric, you can use a coke. Open a bottle of coke and pour it over the oil spill. Let the coke sit on the stain for a few hours and then clean your cloth to get a spotless look.

For paint stains, you can use a razor to clean it from your clothes. You have to move the razor across your cloth in quick motion to remove the paint stain.

2. For Cleaning Places with Bad Odor

You can clean the dirt and dust from your home easily, but getting rid of the bad odor is not. A bad odor comes when you spill something on the floor or in the kitchen sink.

It lingers on even after you thoroughly clean your kitchen and other areas. To get rid of this bad odor, you can sprinkle some of the baking soda to the area and leave it for few minutes.

Then you can vacuum the area to get rid of the bad odor. You can also use essential oil to remove the bad odor from your home.

3. For Extending Your Vacuum and Its Function

You can extend your vacuum hose with different accessories to make it more useful. By putting a squeeze bottle cap at the end of your vacuum hose, you can vacuum dirt and dust from tight places and crevices.

You can clean your laptop, desktop, or other small places with this method as the vacuum will keep the squeeze bottle cap from falling off. In the same way, you can put an empty paper towel tube at the end of the hose to clean dust from crevices and window tracks.

4. For Cleaning Pets

Dogs and cats can easily accumulate dust from the surroundings and bring into your home. You don’t have to wash with water every time your pets go and play outside.

You can easily clean your pets by using the vacuum over its body on a low setting. It also removes any loose hair from your pet, so it doesn’t fall off in your home. It is a great way to get rid of dust and hair from your pets along with making your home clean.

5. For Removing Hair from Your Sofa and Chair

Home sofas and couch easily collects the hair from ourselves and pets. Even with vacuum, it may be difficult to get rid of all the hair from your sofas as the hair sticks to the fabric well.

You can easily get rid of these hairs from your sofa by using rubber gloves. Put on a pair of rubber gloves and rub all over your sofa and couch where the pet hair is the most.

Rubbing creates a static force and the hair starts to attach to your gloves on its own. After catching all the hair, you can rinse it off your gloves.

6. To Get Rid of the Dents in the Carpet

You may have seen the dents left on your carpets by the furniture above like the dining table, chairs, and others. You cannot easily fix this dent on your carpet after you vacuum it.

But this hack with ice helps you to fix it. After cleaning your carpet, leave a small cube of ice on each of the dents of your carpet.

Leave it for a night and then the dents will be gone. It works because the fibers in the carpet rise up as the ice melts to remove the dents.

7. Recovering Missing Items from Under Your Bed or Sofa

It is easy to lose an earring, battery, or pen cap under your bed or sofa. But it is difficult to recover it as the gap is too narrow. In this case, you can use nylon cloth and cover it tightly on the front of the hose.

Then use the vacuum under your bed or sofa with the nylon cloth covered to recover the items. The missing item will automatically attach to your nylon cloth when you vacuum, so you can recover it.

Conclusion

There are various vacuum hacks that you can use to make your cleaning process easy. The above-listed are some of the popular ones that you can try them when needed. Hope you got some information on vacuuming hacks and tricks to make your house clean.
