Have you ever been to someone’s bathroom and thought, “Woah! What’s that terrible smell?” Well, it is a common problem with toilets. Even after you clean the bathroom, there can be a terrible smell.

Cleaning the bathroom itself becomes a chore. The task may seem impossible to finish, depending on how clean you want the bathroom to be.

If you break the task into small sections, you might find it easier to finish the same. Continue reading this article to learn practical tips to help you clean the bathroom faster.

Clear The Counter

Before cleaning the bathroom, clear the counters and put the items somewhere else. You may store the soaps and shampoos someplace else while you thoroughly clean the cupboards in the bathroom.

Remove the pot of plants you have in the bathroom. Furthermore, while you are at it, remove the curtains and all products from the shower and the bathtub.

Dust and Sweep

Once the items are removed, it is time to sweep and dust the floors. You may find cobwebs accumulated in the corners of the room. Get a long broom and remove the cobwebs first.

You may even find mold gathered at places that emit a terrible smell. Now, removing the mold might not be as easy as you think. Mold may indicate something deeper.

Often, leaky pipes can cause mold to grow in the bathroom. Be sure to remove the mold today if you want to eliminate the nasty smell. You may even hire experts to do the work for you. They will have a better understanding of the actual problem.

  • While dusting the floors and the counters, do not forget different surfaces such as the bathtub and more.
  • Before you sweep the surface, make sure the area is dry. If the bathroom is still wet, you will have a hard time dusting.

Clean The Floors

After sweeping, it is time to clean the floors thoroughly with cleaning solutions. Mix the cleaning solution with water and pour it on the floor. Purchase the right cleaning products depending on the type of floor you have in your bathroom.

Cleaning solutions work better on the tile floor, but not so well on the cement surface. So, before you purchase a bunch of cleaning products, make sure you are buying the proper ones.

  • Get on your hands and keens to tackle the tough spots on the floor. At times, if you pour the cleaning liquid directly on your marble floor, it will leave a stain. Therefore, follow the instructions well before using such chemicals.
  • Purchase a mild cleaning solution that is not harsh on your floor. Use hot distilled water to clean the marble floors as the hot water help dissolve the dirt quickly, and it is harmless for your bathroom floors. Once cleaned and washed, use a soft mop or a towel to try the floor.
  • You will have a comparatively fresh bathroom when you clean your toilet daily. Once the bathroom and the bathtub are cleaned, install the items back on the counter. Add green plants in the bathroom as they purify the space. You may also use scented candles and room fresheners to make the bathroom smell fresh.
