When you have your new paint sprayer and you need to set it up, you don’t know how to do that.

What the Package Includes

The package of the paint zoom comes up with a spray gun, paint container, viscosity cup, a hose, and the motor base.

The viscosity cup is a big thing to keep as it determines how thick your paint is and you can lower the thickness according to your requirements as well.

The Process of Setting Up

The first thing you need to do to set the spray machine up, screw, and attach the paint container to the spray gun.

Bellow the spray gun, you can find there is a screw socket that matches the head of the paint container. Hand tightens the container and makes sure it’s locked properly.

Now, you need to attach the hose. To attach the hose perfectly, hold the spray gun in your hand and use the other hand to mount the hose at the back of the spray gun.

The other end of the hose goes to the motor base. You need to mount it there carefully.

When everything is done, you can set the power cord up. Plug it in and you’re ready to go!

Prepare your Paint

To prepare your paint, you need to check the viscosity level first. Put your viscosity cup into the bucket of the paint and fill it up.

Now, record how much time it takes to be empty. When it takes a longer time than instructed, you need to make your paint thinner.

Add water according to the requirements of the paint zoom instruction to make your paint thinner.

Suction Tube

When you’re spray painting something above your eye level, you need to set the suction tube towards you. It’ll take paint staying on the corner and prevent wastage.

The reverse process happens when you’re painting something lower. You need to set the suction tube towards the opposite. It’ll save paint.

Adjust Spray Pattern

The paint spray zoom comes up with three different spray patterns. You can use them for different purposes. But you need to learn what are they good for.

Vertical

Setting the sprayer vertical is a great option when you’re painting wide areas like the wall of your room or the floor or a big piece of wood.

Horizontal

A horizontal setting is great for paint applications like ceilings and fences or on a piece of wood. This pattern is more precise.

Spot Jet

The other setting is named spot jet. It’s ideal for tiny places and corners. You can simply paint your corners with a spot jet setting.

Safety

It’s essential to take precautions before you start painting.

Wear Glasses

To save your eyes, you can wear glasses. The normal glass will do, but if you’re overprotective, you can wear goggles.

Wear Mask

You don’t want to breathe the paint much. To prevent this, you can wear a mask.

  • Wear gloves and shoes too!
  • Cover the area you don’t want to paint with paper and tape them perfectly.
  • Do some practice on a blank board or something else.
  • Always maintain the same distance while painting.

Conclusion

So, this is how you can handle a paint zoom sprayer. These sprayers are now popular all over the world.

Take good care of your spray paint and always try to keep it clean.
