5 Dirtiest Places to Clean in Your Office and Why

The state of your business facility affects your business so much that you can increase productivity and improve customers’ experience in your office by more than 20% by just keeping your space clean and healthy. Please, read that again.

So, when cleaning your office, it’s important to give it your best. That is why I have decided to show you the 5 dirtiest places to clean with much attention in your office. Also, for professional cleaning results, see office cleaning Wantirna.

The Breakroom

All those lunch breaks’ dining and wining at the break room can be so great especially for refueling and getting the body prepared for the remaining work for the rest of the day.

But the activities in the break room make it one of the germiest places in your office. Food messes, liquid spills, and more.

The hotspots you should pay attention to when cleaning the breakroom are; the refrigerator’s door, the microwave, the countertop, and the sink.

General Office Equipment

At least 2 people use these pieces of equipment more than once a day. Think about the germs you pick up from the fax machine, printer, copier, scanner, and the likes of them when you operate them after a co-worker or two.

These pieces of shared office equipment should not only be cleaned every day but must be sterilized if possible to keep the team healthy. Besides, keeping these machines dust-free will only prolong their lives.

Water Fountains

How many times do you drink water from the office water dispenser in a day? Still, counting? Especially in summer when everyone gets dehydrated faster, the office water coolers are more visited than ever.

Due to this, the operating buttons get dirty and germ-clogged. So, it just makes sense to make these water fountains a top priority on your next office cleaning routine.

Mouse And Keyboards

Especially if you don’t have those translucent rubber protectors installed on your keyboards, dust bags form faster around them and may even get the keys to becoming malfunction over time if care isn’t taken.

For better maintenance, dust the keyboards and the mouse first with a blower before cleaning with damp clothing to avoid getting water in them.

Bathrooms

Okay, it’s no brainer how the bathroom can be the germiest and dirtiest place in your office. It even gets worse if more than 2 people share the same restroom.

While most businesses do it themselves, I recommend getting a professional bathroom cleaner company to schedule your office bathroom maintenance.

If you can’t afford the budget, however, put a team member in charge of a scheduled bathroom cleaning and washing. Places to concentrate more on are the faucets, water closets, corners of tiles, and the washing hand basins.
